He has extensive end-to-end Crisis, Business & IT Continuity Management, Risk & Security development & delivery experience including culture embedment, education & executive business planning approval. His industry experience includes Government; Finance; Manufacturing; IT; Professional Services; Not for Profit; Utilities including Energy Markets, Generation & Upstream Oil & Gas. Steven has real disaster experience from events impacting communities and organisations like: Hurricane Katrina, S11, Brisbane floods, Christchurch earthquakes & the Japan tsunami.
Steven is the co-author of the latest BCI Good Practice Guide (GPG2013) which is the baseline for worldwide Business Continuity certification. A strong knowledge of compliance mandates, frameworks/standards and transferring them into achievable organisational outcomes and milestones makes Steven a sought after advisor & presenter in the field of resilience.
He is also the Victorian & Tasmanian Forum Leader for The Business Continuity Institute Australasian Chapter.
